14-year old Jesus Jimenez Solis was cleaning a gun in his bedroom when it accidentally fired, killing his 15-year old friend, Sylas Lieb.  Jimenez Solis, an Omaha Nebraska boy, was holding the gun in his lap and wiping it with a towel when it went off.  Lieb died at the scene.

According to investigators, Jimenez Solis had found the gun at a laundromat days earlier.  An eighth-grader at the Lewis & Clark middle school, Jimenez Solis was charged with manslaughter and sent by the Court to a Youth Detention Center.
